The students in my class have worked so hard this year and what better way to celebrate them than to do a fun, end-of-the-year countdown! This fun and educational tradition involves celebrating the last 26 days of school with a different activity or theme corresponding to a letter of the alphabet.
The ABC countdown is a fun and memorable way to end Kindergarten.
Your donations will contribute to the success of this event. Students will participate in various indoor and outdoor hands-on activities that include fine motor, team building, community, creativity and so much more!
A is for art day - the rainbow scratch papers, sequins and eye stickers will be put out for loads of fun, free artistic creativity! Students can create whatever they wish for on art day. B is for bubbles - the bubble wands will be used for bubble day. C is for chalk - outdoor phonics and math fun with chalk. F is for friend day - students will decorate the paper photo frames and take a picture with their friends to take home for memories. G is glow party - the black light strip lights and highlighters will be used for our lights-out, black light glow party. Students will get to do all their work with highlighters for a truly glowtastic day! H is for hat day - students will create foam hats to wear in the sunshine on the playground. N is for necklace day - students will practice fine motor, pattering, and creativity while creating necklaces for themselves and friends. W is for water play - students will enjoy an outdoor waterplay day with water balloon relays and toss games and water sensory experiences using the water tubs. The popcorn and goldfish will fuel our bodies during all the fun!
