Help me give my students pencils to write with. I have been teaching for many years and the materials that we need most often are pencils and ways to sharpen students’ pencils!
Thank you for any help you can give us to start our year off with the most basic materials my students need! We constantly are looking for pencils. We currently have one manual pencil sharpener, attached to the wall, and one electric pencil sharpener. The electric pencil sharpener is being held together with tape. It makes a very loud screeching noise when the students use it and it is very disruptive. The students have a very difficult time using the manual pencil sharpener.
Having pre-sharpened pencils, and a way to be able to sharpen pencils, will make our year go so much smoother!
