My Project

I am lucky to teach some of the most talented, bright, social, and athletic 5th graders with the biggest hearts. We come from a historically marginalized community school that serves Black and Brown students in East Oakland, CA. Despite the challenges of that our young people face they show up every day with the desire to succeed.

This project will allow my students to learn in the classroom without worrying if they have the tools they need to do the work.

This year we will create passion planners using the 3-ring binders, use the art supplies to integrate art with core subjects, and put pencils to paper to write!
