This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of the materials I am requesting will help all of my students demonstrate their creativity along with their learning. While they read Una arruga en el tiempo (A Wrinkle in Time), the students will explore our solar system with a project. They will first conduct research on a given planet. After, their research, they will use the markers, pencils, and poster paper to make a poster about the planet. They will add facts and information, as well as pictures on the poster. The goal is to have the students present their project to younger students. My 7th graders are in the Dual Language program, so this project will also help build their Spanish Oracy!
