This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are amazing young adults with a love of Dungeons and Dragons! Many of my students are neurodivergent and have reading challenges. I do not want any of my amazing students to miss out on participating in our Dungeons and Dragons activities.
Please consider supporting my neurodivergent students in developing their social-emotional skills.
Special education classes meet in the library weekly to practice important social-emotional skills by playing Dungeons and Dragons. When students play this game, they are engaged in working collaboratively on overcoming a common challenge. They are communicating with their peers, reading descriptions about their common foes, and making plans to succeed in challenges.
