My Students
My students have a passion for learning and a drive to be successful. Our school is in a low income area, but the love for school and drive for success is very evident in all of my students. This is the first year of school for many of my students, and this is the opportunity to begin their love for learning and passion to succeed. My students are kind and loving, and they really do everything they can to make our classroom a second home.
My Project
Stations are essential everyday in the classroom. Stations allow for my students to work independently or in a small group to practice essential skills. Printing in color is a luxury that we are not often afforded unless we are willing to pay out of pocket for the printing. Have a Brother Wireless Digital Color Printer in the classroom would allow me to necessary tools to print in color when needed. Sometimes the students need to be able to see a picture in color to give them more understanding and exposure to new ideas and information. A colored printer will allow me the ability to being my students learning into color.
