This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are some of the newest and most inquisitive little learners who are fascinated by every new activity presented. Our campus is a primary center that serves the beginning educational needs of pre-kindergarten, transitional kindergarten, and kindergarten students, and their families in a supportive and caring environment. My students are the youngest of learners, but they have no shortage of curiosity and energy and require a highly organized schedule for continual productive educational activity. We have no shortage of talent and energy but would really benefit from additional educational resources.

My Project

Many activities in kindergarten require looking and listening and this new Vizio HD TV will provide a fantastic picture to view for so many different visual opportunities. For example, I use the Speakaboos App to introduce and practice nursery rhymes as well as short stories and this new HD TV will make the viewing experience so much nicer for my students. The larger display of this monitor will make it so much easier for all of my students to view the content presented.

Technology helps level the playing field, providing opportunities for students at all socioeconomic levels access to the things that they need to succeed.
