My Students
My diverse classroom of English Langauge Learners are eager to learn to read and write in a second language. As we embark on this distant learning journey, we face many challenges. Many parents are unable to support their child's learning at home due to language differences.
My students are creative, clever, and very enthusiastic about learning.
The majority of my students read below grade level. They would benefit from a variety of classroom resources to help increase their success in our newly established distance remote learning platform.
My Project
My amazing first graders are working really hard during our remote learning, and I would like to provide them with fun and interactive learning resources they can manipulate on their own. Many of their parents are busy working from home or have other children they need to assist. If I am able to provide my ELLs with interactive and engaging learning resources, it will help remove some stress on the parents.
My students love independence and interactive distance learning materials are just what they need during this time.
A gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers will help provide my students with these materials. When we finally return to the classroom, I can use these resources on our classroom set of iPads during center time.
