The use of a wide whiteboard is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math. Doing the math talk, students come to the old rug which they are not comfortable on the floor and with a wide whiteboard too far for them. The wide whiteboard is the only available area where we can do our math talk, but not suitable for the kids with the old rug. If this project is funded, it would be a great help for the kids to actively participate and be comfortable doing the activity.
The small whiteboard will give closer interactions with kids during the activity and it gives a good motivation for them to participate in the activity.
The new rug will give the best place for the kids to interact with their peers in formulating their best answers.
All the materials in this project are very helpful in doing our day-to-day activities, especially in math talk.
