Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The majority of my students live below the poverty level. My students face immense challenges outside of school that they can't control. Every child has capabilities, talents, and strengths! I have a large range of learning abilities in my classroom. They come from diverse backgrounds with a variety of needs. My students are second through fourth graders and have Autism, ADD, or ADHD, but all of the children in my classroom have the same desire to learn.
The students in my class strive for excellence and always try their best.
In my classroom we are scholars striving for greatness. I know my students will be successful because I truly believe in all of them.
My Project
My students are the best people I know! They take such pride and responsibility in our space that we call our classroom. Each of the items that I have placed on our list would be an awesome way for my kids to help take extra care of our classroom.
As a first-year teacher on a budget, tissues, hand soap, and paper towels are all things I would love to have for my students to make our classroom the best learning environment for them!
The Clorox wipes would also keep our room germ free and help us not spread flu or colds to each other!
