My Students
Our New York City middle school serves students in grades 6-8. Our school offers a wide variety of after-school enrichment classes. Our after school classes include sports, music, and arts as well as academic programs.
The students in our school represent the diverse population of New York City.
Our hard-working students are eager to learn and express themselves. Students are honing their reading and writing skills throughout the day. In our Social Studies class, students often connect what we are learning about the past to what is happening in our world today.
My Project
Study.com is a great resource for helping students learn about ancient civilizations. It takes all of the topics we explore and provides students with a variety of fascinating, detailed material.
Our inquisitive students will be able to explore topics based on their interests.
The resources are leveled and will be accessible to readers of all levels. This resource provides both texts and videos so students will be able to choose which materials are most helpful to them. Quizzes are also included. This gives students the ability to assess their own progress during a unit.
