Help me give my students a way to interact as a class family, and a way for me (as their teacher) to interact with them on their level…with a new classroom rug!
A desire of my heart has been to provide my first grade students with a new classroom carpet, that’s big enough for everyone to sit! I’ve always had a classroom carpet, but the large ones are unaffordable one a teacher’s salary.
It’s a favorite part of my students day…to get out of their desks and enjoy learning time with flexible seating for our morning routine, calendar time, show and tell, STEM centers, and read aloud time.
It encourages our yearly theme that our classroom is a family, and it allows me to be more present and really engage them on their level! Please consider helping me make this dream come true! My students will love it for many years to come!
