This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I love each and every scholar I have the joy of servicing. My school demographics are mostly composed of African Americans. My scholars come from challenging environments, which would seem to be a hindrance, however, it pushes them to excel even more. We each have our own bond that allows me to build a special relationship with each of them. Some of my scholars have some type of learning disability or struggle to manage their emotions. That does not stop them from wanting to learn and being excited about it. Each has their own learning style which makes them unique and allows me to creatively reach them. I want to eliminate as many barriers as possible to establish meaningful and creative avenues to foster their learning journey.
My Project
Writing is something my scholars struggle with. Writing is something I am passionate about and want to share that passion with my scholars.
I want to help ignite a spark to inspire young writers to creatively write, with fluency.
Writing creates avenues of expressing thoughts. These materials will allow my students to have multiple areas to work on the craft of writing, all while having fun doing so.They will have access to a plethora of writing prompts, writing journals, letter stamps, and much more. Anyway I can help them create beautiful and creative writing pieces, I’m willing to do
