it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The long-lasting effects of COVID-19 certainly have taken a toll on all of us, and my students are no exception. Since going virtual during the pandemic, the demand for better and more tech support has never been more pressing. I know my students get excited about their learning when they have new tools and resources provided to them. This will open new learning opportunities for their academic success in the 21st century. The main thing they’re in need of is access to power outlets daily. It’s a struggle for them to charge their laptops when they use them all day in all classes but only limited outlets are available in classrooms. The power strips will help more students to charge their laptops around the room without having to fight over who has a lower percentage of battery life. The covers will also ensure my students do not have tripping hazards around the room. While we continue to live in uncertain times, having the chance to upgrade old and non-existent classroom tech tools would provide my students the stability they need to thrive in my classroom.
