My Project
The whiteboard I have is permanently stained and no longer erases cleanly, no matter how much we scrub. This makes it hard for students to follow along visually, which is especially important in a primary classroom where so much of our learning is hands-on and modeled step by step. Additionally, our current easel is much too tall for young children. It's designed more for upper grades, making it difficult for students to interact with the board themselves. I want my students to be able to come up and write answers, draw, and share their thinking—but the height makes that nearly impossible.
Having a new, lower, clean whiteboard easel would allow me to model lessons more clearly and give my students the chance to be more involved and hands-on during group time.
It would be a simple change that would make a huge difference in engagement and learning every day.
