In our music lessons, you will see students engaging not only in the fundamentals of music and playing a musical instrument but also in character lessons of responsibility, leadership, commitment and teamwork. Students in our our band program work to achieve excellence in these areas.
My students are 4th and 5th grade elementary students, who have chosen to play a musical instrument.
Many play on free instruments that the band owns. Throughout the year, they become hard workers and learn the discipline of what it takes to play a musical instrument. Our school works hard to foster a culture of responsibility and achievement and I believe that is seen in the children that attend here.
My Project
The use of this whiteboard will provide a basic need for my students as they express their knowledge of the music fundamentals that I teach them each day. As an example of this they will be able to notate, write music symbols, small compositions etc. As their teacher this will help me access their understanding of the materials that I teach.
This item will make a difference in that it will provide a basic need.
This is a board that I can teach from and an excellent board for the students to write on. This will help in my day to day teaching and make the lessons clearer for the students and easier for them to understand. This will also create a more interactive classroom setting.
