My Project

After a year of reading the books in our library, my second graders are ready for more! Second grade is a bridge when kids go from beginning readers to reading chapter books. I want to make sure they have enough books to keep them excited about reading.

My students most favorite books see a great deal of wear and tear throughout the years, this project would help to replace some of the books that are losing pages daily!

Some of the books in our library are very popular and there is a waitlist for kids that want to read them. With these new books, I'll be able to let more kids read the books they're excited about.

Mrs. VanderKamp will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 31.
