A Well Fed Child Is A Productive Child

Help me give my students snacks that will feed their hungry bellies while engaging in reading, writing, and learning. Many of these students only eat when they come to school.

My Project

I noticed my students are much calmer and focused and productive when they have food in their bellies.

Many of these kids only eat when they come to school.

I was one of those kids growing up. I want to make sure the children in my classroom feel safe, loved, and cared for when it comes to them being hungry.

This is why I want snacks for them. I never want a child feeling so hungry that they can't focus. It also provides a much needed break for the kids because the curriculum is very rigorous.
