A Welcome Routine

Help me give my students a class set of Where the Red Fern Grows; as well as other materials to help our classroom run smoothly.

My Project

COVID-19 has severely impacted students around the world. In my classroom, I have seen how what was once a safe and secure haven, was transformed into a scary place for both students and teachers. I want my students to have a routine that helps them feel more secure, but I need some help to have the tools I need to make my room run more smoothly.

A class set of Where the Red Fern Grows will help my students interact socially and assist one another in improving their reading skills in a welcoming environment.

The Wacom wireless tablet will allow me to work one-on-one with students quietly while still being able to reach the entire class from anywhere in the room. The tools and materials such as the pencil sharpeners, tape, and sticky notes will help my classroom routine run smoothly. Having printer ink for my printer will allow myself and students to print out materials and projects while remaining in the classroom.

All of these items will help transform my class into a safe place with a routine students can depend on.
