My Students

I teach 9th and 10th grade geometry, honors or gifted students. They are easy to teach, as they are eager to learn.

My school was created in 1957 as a "math and science school".

Many students participate in Mu Alpha Theta and many take on Advanced Placement courses in the STEM fields. Many will go on to STEM careers.

This is why it is so important for me to provide my students with the tools that they need to succeed because truly, they do their part of the work.

My Project

During the Covid-19 outbreak, I teach my Geometry classes online, like every other teacher in the country. My school had a supply of a few Wacom tablets, but not enough for every teacher.

A Wacom tablet would be of great help to teach Geometry.

It would help my students tremendously if they could see me draw lines when I explain a lesson or concept using the Zoom interface.

It would make Zoom even more interactive.

Indeed, the tablet allows you to draw, type, digitally annotate, erase, use colors, and it is an awesome interactive tool. Coupled with Zoom, it is very helpful to the teacher and students to understand Geometry.
