My Students

My wonderful students come from all walks of life and because of this, each one adds so many wonderful things to our diverse school environment. They are very accepting and kind to others. They love to please and make others happy. My students come to school ready and eager to learn.

My students come to school knowing that the staff is prepared to help them reach their potential of being college and career-ready while caring about their social well-being.

My Project

We have started back to school and it has been hot. A fan will help to cool our classroom down some. The air is on, but with high humidity, it is still warm in our classroom. When it is so hot in the classroom, my students are unable to concentrate. The digital clock will help us keep on schedule and it will show us the temperature so we know if we will have outside or indoor recess for the day. Since my students switch classes, they need to know the time so they can make sure their work is completed on time.

My students love to be rewarded.

After reaching their goals for Lexia, a reading-based program, they get to choose a piece of candy or a small treat from the treat cart. The candy will keep our treat cart filled for a little while. My students work hard to reach their weekly goals.

In class, my students use composition notebooks for reading, writing, and social studies activities. The labels will be used to stick to the front of the notebooks with the subject and their name so my students will be able to make sure they are using the correct notebook at the time.

We appreciate you helping us receive a variety of resources to help our year run smoother and for my students to have what they need.
