it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a 5th grade teacher, I aim to provide my students with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that engage their creativity and help them take pride in their work. One of the most effective ways to do this is through the use of quality art supplies across subjects. Whether students are illustrating a science concept, designing a math poster, or adding visuals to a writing project, tools like thin markers and colored pencils allow them to express their ideas in colorful and personal ways.
Currently, our classroom supply of markers and colored pencils is limited and often shared among too many students.
Many of the items are worn out or missing colors, which can be frustrating for students and limit their ability to do their best work. I am requesting packs of 20-count thin markers and 24-count colored pencils to ensure each group of students has access to fresh, full sets that can be used throughout the year for creative academic projects.
These supplies will not only support art activities, but will also enhance learning in every subject by giving students opportunities to visualize, design, and create. With your support, my students will be better equipped to fully participate in lessons and take ownership of their learning through colorful, engaging work.
