My Project

Bringing Learning to Life with Tie-Dye Tees!

My fourth graders are an energetic, creative, and hardworking group of students who thrive when learning is hands-on and engaging.

To celebrate their growth this year, we are planning a special end-of-year field trip, and we want to make it even more meaningful with matching tie-dye T-shirts!

These shirts will do more than just create a fun and colorful memory—they will foster a sense of unity, belonging, and school pride as we explore and learn outside the classroom. Having matching shirts also ensures easy student identification during the trip, promoting safety and organization.

Our goal for this project is to provide each student with a personalized, student-created T-shirt that allows them to express their creativity while learning about color mixing, patterns, and even the science behind dyeing fabric! This hands-on project will reinforce teamwork, patience, and artistic skills while giving them something special to wear and cherish.

My students are special because they support and encourage each other like a family. They work hard every day, and this project will give them a chance to celebrate their achievements together in a way that is both fun and educational.
