My Project

Classroom environment is key to kids feeling comfortable and learning. I would like to have a world map carpet so we can sit and have lessons around it. A tree shaped bookcase will allow me to have books more accessible to the students and give them a creative space to read in.

Visual appealing classroom décor will motivate the students to focus on their learning.

With a map carpet, the students can physically show paths that early explorers took when voyaging into the unknown. They can visualize prehistoric Natives traveling into North America and the ships' routes across the Atlantic used to discover the Americas.

A tree bookcase will brighten up our reading nook. It will provide me with shelves to display different genres of books throughout the school year. I strive to provide a relaxing environment where my students are excited to come everyday and learn.
