A Treasure Chest for Curious Minds

My Project

Our second grade class is full of little bookworms that love to read. We range all the way from super readers to readers to struggling readers. Even if there is struggle, there is no shortage of love for reading! They love to read independently and with each other. In fact, they enjoy reading so much, our books are looking extra loved and slightly worn. We would love to replace some of our books and add new ones as well. We have had discussions about our favorite topics and titles and what we would like to add to our classroom library.

The students would love to add in duplicate titles (so they can read the same title together), as well as more titles to begin some book series of their favorite characters.

We also have some class bookworms that do not have any books to read at home. I would be thrilled to be able to send a couple books home to the few that do not have any.

New books will range in reading levels to meet the needs of every learner as well. This will help our class fill our treasure chest with lots of adventures for our minds!
