This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A touch of color brightens the day! My amazing group of students work hard to overcome challenges in learning to read. These middle schoolers participate in an intensive, highly differentiated program designed to address their needs in acquiring foundational literacy skills. They deserve access to motivating visuals and tools to enhance their classroom experience.
Printer ink will allow us to print visuals to support concept and vocabulary development and colorful stamps are great motivation and feedback tools!
Students will use the colored pencils to annotate and illustrate when reading and writing. The colorful, but calming classroom posters will serve to create an environment that supports a growth mindset.
