Help me give my students a new toner cartridge for our classroom printer so my students can print their essays.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Zeig's classroom raised $188
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
More than 80% of my students are considered economically disadvantaged. This is a measure of student poverty: the percentage of students receiving free or reduced-priced lunches.
Because these students face economic challenges, they don't have the resources necessary to print essays at home.
Therefore, they need to print their essays at school. Fortunately, my students can type their essay on computers at school. However, they are unable to print these essays because I don't have enough toner for our classroom printer. Unfortunately, my school doesn't provide toner, so I must buy it on my own.
With a new toner cartridge for our classroom printer, my students will be able to print their essays to facilitate the writing process, especially with regard to revising, editing, and publishing their essays.
My Project
My students need to print! I can motivate my students to write, but I need a way for them to print their essays in class because most of my students don't have printers at home. Therefore, I ordered a toner cartridge for our classroom printer.
Getting this project funded will allow my students to print their essays in the classroom.
Once the essays are printed, my students can give the essays to their peers for review and editing. This peer editing will allow my students to improve their essays and become better writers.
Once all revisions are completed, I can print out the final drafts for posting in the classroom for all to see.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
