Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Sometimes, school can be a bit stressful. Kids need a peaceful place to take their minds off of their stress and help them calm down. They also need a dedicated comfortable location to read.
A quiet tent to be used as a reading spot and a calming place can be just what a student needs to help them redirect their energy.
Sensory tools will be kept close by in bins so that everything a student needs is within easy reach. Students will also go here as a peaceful place to read without disturbances. It will be located right next to the class library.
I can picture my students now, with restful smiles on their faces as they lay back to read, or use a sensory tool, in their new tent.
