My Students

My students are funny, hard-working, and dedicated in the classroom and out of it. Archery allows them to challenge themselves. They use both negative and positive feedback to build their confidence not only as an archer but as a person.

My Project

Archery requires a lot of practice in order to be the best you can be. I have coached my middle school students for two years now and when my 8th graders last year were worried about not having a team in their 9th-grade year, I just knew I needed to find a way to make sure they had a team. I took the challenge of coaching two schools this year and that means that the equipment we are practicing on is taking twice the amount of wear and tear.

The donations to this project will ensure that the archery students in both middle and high school can continue doing what they love.

Not only are they doing something that they love, many are working hard to obtain a scholarship to college through archery. Having good equipment will help support their life long goals.
