Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I previously received a tablet from DonorsChoose years ago and I made such a difference in my classroom. Sadly after many years and countless hands, the tablet is no longer functional. The previous iPad was used during individual and group stations to help reinforce the topics covered in class, as well as for projects. Students loved taking photos of the projects for me to share online for their parents to see. Also being the safety patrol sponsor at my school the capt. used it to award points to students who were doing their responsibilities properly. It was a great motivational tool and a great way to teach responsibility.
This new tablet and case will be used in the same way, to help students practice skills as well as teach them proper technology care.
This tablet will also help students complete online programs that they are required to do as part of their curriculum. I know that is iPad will be as useful if not more useful than the previous one and will help all my students reach their potential.
