This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have wonderful, energetic, loving, and kind students in my class. Each is unique and has their own challenges both cognitive and physical. They also come from a wide variety of socioeconomic statuses. We are a preschool disabled class made up of 3 and 4 year olds. Our students range widely in height.

We would love an adjustable table so that our 3-year-olds can sit properly.

Our current table is so old we cannot find the proper tool to adjust the height of the legs. Currently, our tiniest students sit with their feet dangling and some struggle to reach the top of the table properly. It would be wonderful to have a table that we could adjust to meet their needs. It would make their participation in activities at the table so much easier for them and ultimately more productive.
