This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a new teacher, I have inherited classroom furniture that is old and shaky. My plan for this coming school year 2023 is to build different academic centers to engage my students in independent and group work as they are in the alternate curriculum and need extra practice in the many areas of education and life skills. I am requesting a sturdy table to be used as a literacy center as my students learn better under structured conditions.
My students are deserving of classroom materials that are functional for their abilities.
