My students are looking to use their individuality to become the best humans they can be. Throughout this school year, my students have realized that they each have special qualities and traits that make them unique.
These children love to move, think, build and socialize with one another to share their very special ideas and thoughts.
This helps them better understand one another and themselves. Each child in my class values different experiences and loves to share what they have learned. These kiddos definitely value one another's differences and celebrate them in our classroom!
My Project
The students in my classroom LOVE flexible seating. Over the past school year I have noticed that some of my option choices have fallen flat and have become completely worn down rather quickly. The Gardiner 3 Piece Table Set will not only last for years to come, but will be a sophisticated seating option for my second graders. This cafe style table will help store the children's personal items with the built in shelves and keep them seated high. It can also double as a standing table for those who prefer to stand while they work.
This table will help my students get the most out of their education in a flexible seating atmosphere.
They will be able to sit comfortably, therefore maximize their learning. This will help them see better during full class instruction because the stools are higher up. This table will also be used by many students on a daily basis as I allow children to move freely about the class. Not only will two students benefit, but all 26!
