This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Summer Bridge Activities workbook is an award-winning summer learning workbook that is an easy and proven way to help children retain the skills they learned in the classroom.
As a teacher in the classroom, I know for a fact that children will lose at least 3 months of grade-level skills over their summer break.
Using the Summer Bridge Activities books over the summer break will give every one of my students the opportunity to enter their new grade prepared and confident.
Most parents are already having a very difficult time on a daily basis providing for their children and this causes them
to not be able to afford these books, pencils and erasers on their own for their children. I would really like to provide each of my students with a workbook.
