A Successful Start to In-Person Learning

Help me give my students supplies to begin in-person learning so they can concentrate on engaging with each other and becoming comfortable with being back in the classroom.

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Ellzy Roberts's classroom raised $597

This project is fully funded

My Students

Most of my students are from underserved communities. Please help me give them a successful transition back into the classroom, in-person learning, with much-needed supplies to begin the school year.

My students will learn to organize, take care of, and respect their supplies in their individual workspace.

The students will have composition books for specific writing and math assignments and writing paper that guides them in pencil placement and spacing of their writing.

My students will not have to worry about not having the needed supplies and will be able to concentrate on developing relationships with peers by engaging with them about their thoughts on topics and accountable talks about how they think and feel about all topics.

My Project

The students in my class are developing their writing skills, therefore the crayons, pencils, and markers will serve as different media for them to learn to write and draw in different ways. The crayons can be used to make narrow lines and wide lines, the markers will make bold lines, and the pencils will be used for students to develop their writing skills on K-1 paper and lined composition books.

Students having materials to take home and complete assignments are very important, therefore pencils, composition books, folders, and glue will be sent home for students to complete homework and projects.

The chair pockets and caddies will help students keep their supplies organized and easily accessible.
