A Stylish and Comfy Room to Learn

Help me give my students a stylish and compact area to put their supplies in with these SEESPRING shoe storage boxes. My students would love seats from LILYPAD to grab and sit wherever they feel comfortable.

My Project

A tidy place for my students' books and papers would be nice. We just moved from a trailer into the building, and our storage area also needs to be updated. With a compact size designed just for our notebooks and papers, the students can quickly grab what they need to start the day.

Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the best choices.

During independent work times, they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. Currently, my students are choosing to work in various areas in our room, such as: at different tables, sitting under tables, or sitting or lying on the floor. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I have noticed striking differences in my students when they are given a choice in their seating. They almost always make good choices about where they sit, are more engaged, and complete more work than just sitting at their desk.
