My Project

So, technology is the future, right? Middle schoolers are all POSITIVE they are gonna be YouTube stars. I’m a special education teacher and this is a common excuse for why my students “don’t need math or language arts.” Ok, well, let’s show them how much work and money actually being a streamer takes! I want to create a maker’s space with all the tools to get kids streaming or making a podcast. This takes resources like a Mac and a microphone and a streaming deck! Maybe this leads to the next super star on YouTube! Probably not, but maybe then it will make my kids focus on math and science and language arts once they see how hard it is and how much it costs? Or maybe it’s just a complicated lesson on writing and recording and tricks them into writing something or planning a project? The possibilities are endless! Sounds like a win-win to me! Thank you for considering this project!
