A Story Can Spark the Imagination!

Help me give my students books to read to help aid in instruction during art lessons! Most of my students need a visual aid for learning new vocabulary. Children's books would be amazing to add to my lessons!

My Students

Our school offers a community rich in diversity! We have students from all over the world that we serve. Most of our students are ESL and in need of special attention, whether it be academically, socially or emotionally. This makes my job both a challenge and pleasure.

Each day at our school is a special one.

Some students have never been exposed to art or art materials. It brings me joy to see students getting excited about innovation, imagination and the creation process. My students always appreciate an opportunity to be creative. They exercise their knowledge and communicate through various outlets, such as art. I am honored to witness it each day.

My Project

Please help fund my students Art Library as they do not have a classroom and are limited to projects they can do. A story can inspire a child to create new ideas and bring that to life on paper.

My students who are mainly ESL need visual aids to help them build their language skills.

Images can really help a child learn vocabulary. Art serves as a tool to allow the students the space for representation. They are able to show what concepts they understand through the expression of art. Art materials can be a fun and interesting way for students to engage in new learning!
