Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Having the proper resources is imperative for any classroom to function properly. Many of our school systems are not aware of the vast majority of resources available for our performing arts students. Our band students at Eddie White perform at a very high level. Learning theory and Etudes are the building blocks to students grasping their instruments and being successful. We have currently none of these resources. In order to get them I have to pay out of pocket. To use items such as the device for woodwind students we have to use items such as PVC pipes when there are items specially made for them to learn to make the correct sounds.
