it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Classroom rugs can provide a room within a room. A classroom rug offers a designated space within the larger classroom. It provides me, as the teacher, with a well-defined area that is easily recognizable for my students. When I say, "Please sit on the carpet," students immediately understand their destination. The clear boundaries outlined by the carpet design enable my students to comprehend their seating arrangement. By gathering on the carpet, my students will be able to swiftly and effortlessly transition to a specific area where further instruction can be conducted.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement by giving my students a spot to an engaging learning experience.
Occasionally, classrooms may lack a personal touch as students occupy separate desks within their designated spaces. While this arrangement serves its purpose for individual tasks such as instruction and testing, creating a sense of togetherness within the class requires an alternative setting. The classroom carpet serves as an optimal solution, where students can gather in rows during story time or form a circle for discussions and educational games. By utilizing classroom rugs, my students will be able to forge connections and enhance their familiarity with both their peers and their teacher. These carpets contribute to the creation of lasting memories.
