Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first-grade students are naturally curious, creative, and full of potential. What makes them truly special is their enthusiasm for learning and their eagerness to connect through two languages. They are kind, resilient, and thrive when they feel safe, supported, and valued in the classroom. Their ability to adapt and their excitement for discovery create a positive and inspiring atmosphere every day.
This project will make a significant difference in their learning by providing engaging tools that support both their language development and creativity.
The language games will help students expand their vocabulary in a fun and interactive way, strengthening their bilingual skills. Writing tools will encourage them to express their ideas clearly and confidently, fostering literacy in both languages. Additionally, these resources will improve classroom organization, creating a calm and productive learning environment.
My goal is to build a joyful, welcoming space where every student feels confident and inspired to learn. By supporting bilingual literacy and creating a nurturing community, I hope to help each child shine and reach their full potential.
