Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are active 4 years olds who are always on the move! Many of whom live in small apartments and they need space to move around in their environment. Having personal soft spots to sit would benefit them by giving them a feeling of comfort and personal space.
My Project
Using the soft spots throughout my classroom centers would benefit my students by having a personal spot to call their own. The students could use the activity mats in our meeting area and other center areas for a fun way to learn their shapes while keeping their distance from one another. My students can use the mats both in the schoolyard or in the classroom to learn their shapes and colors.
