Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Snacks help keep students energized and prevent hunger, which can otherwise become distracting. When students go for long periods without eating, they may feel fatigued, irritable, or unable to concentrate on their work.
Example: A mid-morning snack, such as a piece of fruit or a granola bar, can give students the energy they need to stay engaged in their lessons.
Offering healthy snacks teaches students about making nutritious food choices. When students are provided with healthy options, it encourages them to choose better foods and form positive habits that can last into adulthood.
