My first-grade students are bright, energetic, and excited to learn. My students are faced with the challenge of learning from home as we try to protect them and our staff from contracting Covid 19. This increases our academic challenges to provide the instruction needed to see academic gains through hard work and perseverance. Financial challenges often leave my students lacking the resources they need to reach their highest potential. My students love to spend time learning!
Our school serves students in grades K-5 and provides rigorous academics, dedicated teachers.
My students will continue to learn from home this year and will need support during these challenging times.

My Project
My students are all home at this time. For many families providing snacks on top of meals for their children is a real struggle. This surprise goody bag of snacks will provided some much needed comfort in a stressful time.
With the closing of in-person school, many of the students in my class will be missing the stability they find through school attendance.
This project will provide my students with snacks such as granola bars, cheese and crackers, fruit snacks, and individually packaged crackers.
In addition they will receive a few toothbrushes to help them take care of their teeth after eating the sticky snacks. I have also asked for dry erase markers to send home as well. The students all received a white board to use during our online instruction and many will need a few replacements for those that have dried up through continued use.
