My Project

Greetings!

When you think of a library, you may think about the books in the collection, but each book requires a barcode, a spine label, and a way of printing and protecting them.

My school is a wonderful school with over 600 incredible, curious, and kind 3K through 8th grade students, and a lovely, collaborative staff. Unfortunately, our school budget is quite small for the things that are needed and I was told our library printer is broken and there is no money for printer ink. Our students deserve the world, and at minimum, a fully functioning school library.

We have lots of books, but no way of printing student barcodes for borrowing books, book barcodes for checking in and checking out, signage, newsletters, fliers advertising community events, or even spine labels to keep our collection organized. I am currently printing everything from home and going to my public library to print, but there's a printing limit and a printing cost.

Your donation would mean the world to us as far as making sure we have a fully and smoothly functioning space, open to all students, staff, and families.
