A Sketchbook Will Help My Artists Keep It Together!
Help me give my students a sketchbook. Being at home and being an artist is sometimes difficult. Having a sketchbook is important because my students can keep their artwork and lessons in one place.

My Students
Our school family is composed of primarily immigrants. A large percentage of our students are at or below the poverty line. I have been blessed teach these students Art. My students range from kindergarten to fifth grade. So many of them are talented artists, who pay great attention to detail in their artwork. It is a joy to teach them!
My Project
Most of my artists are working from home and it is very difficult for them. They are always hunting for paper or last weeks artwork. Very often their work gets thrown out. Many do their work in a composition notebook or lined paper, which is not optimal for them.
This is why they need sketchbook.
A sketchbook is a valuable tool and a place where an artist can keep all their work and notes together. Each week I give my students a lesson with modeling and vocabulary. Normally there is a lot of visual support in the art studio, but they are not there now.
When the lesson is done my students practice whatever they have learned. With a sketchbook, they can refer back to their notes after the lesson, explore ideas and have their artwork to look back on.
