My Students
My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, smiles on their faces, and ready to learn. I teach at at Title I school in North Texas where 90% of our students are eligible for free/reduced price lunch and breakfast.
Despite so many hardships, these students are eager to learn and do their best.
They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful. I want to help them be successful and be the best kindergarteners that they can be.
My Project
The bookshelf will allow the students to see the themed books for the month and easily pick which book they would like to read during read to self. It will be helpful because they will be able to see all the titles at once and not have to look through a stack of books to find out which one they would like to read.
We love flexible seating in our classroom.
Flexible seating helps our classroom stay more student centered. With the stools and the seat cushions this will add to our choices and allow the students to find the perfect seating option for them.
