My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, smiles on their faces, and ready to learn. I teach at at title 1 school in North Texas where 90% of our students are eligible for free/reduced lunch and breakfast. Despite so many hardships, these students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful. I want to help them be successful and be the best kindergarteners that they can be. This project will help my students be able to focus and learn in a way that is comfortable for them. No more being told to sit in a chair at a desk and not move while doing your work! These flexible seating options will help my 5 and 6 year olds be more comfortable while they are learning. It will also help them become more aware of how to choose a seat that is the best for them and make them accountable for their own learning!
