A Shelf is a House for a Book

Help me give my students safe bookshelves in their reading area and a bookshelf that is sturdy for me to hold my Guided Reading books.

My Students

Soon, I will have another energetic group of students eager to learn in a Title I school with a limited budget and resources for our students. I love seeing their faces in the fall, eager for the year, ready to learn! I am passionate about student success and want them to feel comfortable and safe in the learning environment! Students are our future so it is equally important to provide a wonderful and safe environment where students are engaged and learning.

My Project

My bookshelves in my classroom are falling apart. The bookshelves for students are not safe. At any point one of the shelves can fall down which can be a liability. My Guided Reading bookshelf is taped in the back. These new bookshelves will provide safety for not only my books but the student reading area. This will provide peace of mind for students while they are in reading area. I would greatly appreciate any donors help in funding this project to receive the new bookshelves for the upcoming school year.
