This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help us enrich the lives of the incredible students in Kelseyville’s special education classroom, serving children in 3rd through 6th grade with diverse needs and abilities.
This project aims to provide essential resources such as new books, furniture, outdoor equipment, educational toys, and sensory support items that are vital to each student’s learning, development, and well-being.
In addition to enhancing learning, functional storage solutions will help create a clutter-free environment, allow us to organize and rotate sensory bins effectively, and provide designated space for students’ shoes and lunches keeping them clean, accessible, and out of backpacks throughout the day.
By meeting each child’s individual needs, we foster a nurturing classroom where students can grow, learn, and thrive. A supportive sensory environment is not just beneficial, it’s essential for their development, comfort, and inclusion both in the classroom and beyond.
